January's Camping Trip
Dec 31, 2011
We know what it's like in the middle of the summer but howe is Camp Cherokee in the middle of the winter? We'll find out when we go there the weekend of January 13th - 15th. We will be staying in the Cheyenne campsite. it's the remote site along the powerlines off of the end of the climbing tower. Why there? because that's where they assigned us and it has running water. Should be interesting.
February 2012 Trip
Nov 13, 2011
As everyone knows, we try to do a special trip once a year and February 24-26, 2012 will see us going to Williamsburg VA. I wanted to give everyone a head's up so they can begin saving their pennies. It's going to cost $60 per person but that covers 2 nights at the 4H Center in Jamestown in a heated cabin complete with flush toilets and hot showers, all meals Saturday and Sunday breakfast. The Troop is going to spring for the group tickets to tour Colonial Williamsburg - if at least 15 people signup. More details will be coming over the next couple of months
